Yotam Assaf Ottolenghi is an Israeli-British chef, restaurant owner, and regular food writer  for the Guardian.com.

Together with his business partner, fellow chef, and co author Sami Tamimi, he has taken meat  fish and vegetables, staples in most British homes and married them with spices, grains and condiments from all over the world. His recipes have a Middle Eastern influence, celebrating his childhood years spent in that region.

He has a growing following around the world as reflected in one instance of a Facebook group, 'The Yotam Ottolenghi-inspired cooking housewives', and at the last count number 7,059 female and male members from every place  on planet earth!
